Atomic Design Builds Castles out of Coffee Cups for Robin Hood FoundationNews Release Atomic Design, Inc. April 25, 2007 Lititz, Pa. - For the eighth year running, Atomic Design, Inc. has been selected as the scenic company for the annual Robin Hood Foundation fundraising dinner held at the Javits Center on May 2, 2007. Touted as Manhattan's largest sit-down dinner, the event raises millions of dollars to help the foundation in its mission to wipe out poverty in New York City. Soren West, president of Atomic Design says, "It's always a pleasure to work on this event. Dan Parise and Live Nation have a terrific team of partners in place who collaborate to produce a top-drawer production." He continues, "The fact that it's to benefit such a great cause makes it all the more satisfying to be a part of it." Once again David Stark of David Stark Design & Production has crafted an outstanding design that Atomic has engineered and fabricated. The decor in the cocktail area is a play on Sherwood Forest with castles and trees built out of iconic symbols of New York City - the street vendor coffee cup and lottery tickets. The design also includes medieval style tents and cabanas for the entrance and bar areas. More than 200,000 cups and 12,000 yards of fabric went into the construction.
